The Laboratory of Material Engineering for Energetics

Pavilion C-6, premises 001, 002, 003

The laboratory consists of:

  • Laboratory of Material Engineering for Energetics 1
  • Laboratory of Material Engineering for Energetics  2

The test shall be carried out in laboratories research associated with the storage and conversionof renewable energy will be carried out in the laboratory within the framework of master's degree and PhD projects conducted in the Department of Hydrogen Energy, the Faculty of Energy and Fuels. In particular, the work will be centered on materials for fuel cells, high-temperature steam electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen within the framework of hydro-nuclear synergy, trifunctional catalyst, oxygen storage innovative techniques, as well as lithium cells Li-ion batteries. Collected equipment will work on low-and high-temperature methods for preparation of functional materials, the study of electrical properties of the materials and impedance spectroscopy, and also thermogravimetric and calorimetric measurements, moreover prepared and tested a prototype device will be based on projected materials.
